湖南省邵阳县河伯岭,位于邵阳、新宁和东安三县交界处。河伯岭主峰海拔1454.9米，为邵阳县海拔最高的地方，非常适合杜鹃花的生长。因海拔差异，河伯岭杜鹃花花期长达一个余月。每年5月前后，海拔从低至高，杜鹃花依次盛开，美轮美奂。山脚下杉木皮盖顶的木架民居独具山区特色，更是夏天纳凉的好去处，冬季的河伯岭，在气温足够低时，雾凇会挂满林区。满眼望去，绿树银装。而散落的特色民居，更使景色增添了几分浓浓的乡土韵味，河伯腊肉、猪血丸子、血浆鸭农家特色菜远近闻名。 

邵阳县人民政府近年来根据河伯岭得天独厚的森林生态资源，积极筹划河伯岭康养基地建设，充分发挥河伯岭森林资源的多重功能，满足人民群众不断增长的健康需求，培养壮大绿色惠民富民乡村休闲产业，促进森林康养、健身、休闲等多产业多功能发展、助推山区农民脱贫致富，致力打造国家级森林康养休闲目的地。
