南溪村村位于宁波市宁海县西北部，是宁海森林温泉所在地。村庄背靠青山，风景秀丽、气候宜人，是闻名遐迩的天然氧吧。森林温泉小镇的开发，带来了大批游客。南溪人在当地政府的支持下办起了民宿，一幢幢乡村别墅耳目一新，村内有一条路从村口一直延伸到森林温泉景区，路的一边是连绵的群山，山脚下流淌着潺潺的溪水，另一边是村民利用自家住宅打造成的民宿，各具特色，俨然“民宿一条街”。一路上的民宿指示牌成了一道特殊的风景线。目前，共有93 个房间，142张床位。

每年农历十月十五日，深甽镇会举行庙会，参与人员除了来自本县各地外，邻近的奉化、天台、新昌、三门，乃至上海等地都有。民间戏剧、舞龙、舞狮、踩高跷、抬阁、鼓亭，民间体育娱乐活动参与助兴，还有求神拜佛的善男信女到隔水庵朝拜。农副产品交流，日用商品交易，客商云集。
